This was done at 2am in the morning in a studio adjacent to a haybarn on a misty winter night far from the beaten track.

There was no heating in the studio but as the magic of certainty arises all awareness of my surroundings dissappeared.

I think I have been successful with this work in capturing the tones and colour values which watercolour allows. Working with the light of the paper.

When I had finishd it I had a strange walk across the farm in pitch black for a few hundred yards. Still carrying the mood that this work and its absorption gave me.
