I have an obsessive interest with portraiture particularly self portraits.

The challenge of painting portraits is to focus on light and colour and perhaps some drama. It is also a yardstick which I gauge technical challenges.

I feel I need to move on and yet I still return to this task.

Self obsession? Certainly!
